Rock Words

Young children need multi-sensory experiences in order to learn how our written language works.  Young children usually love rocks too!  Put them together and you have an engaging way to play with words!

Students receive 30 minutes per day, 4 times per week of Sonday System 1 instruction.

Written by Arlene Sonday, past president of the International Dyslexia Association (IDA), this program is based on the Orton-Gillingham method of teaching reading.

Take something children LOVE an turn it into a learning experience!   Students match sounds to letters to form words!
